HOW TO ORDER
To order using our online store, just enter a quantity in the box next to the item you'd like to order, and hit the 'add to cart' button. You can view the contents of your cart at any time, and make deletions or update quantities. When you're ready, click "proceed to checkout' and fill out the order form, where you'll be able to select shipping and payment options. Our online store is secure, your payment information is protected by powerful encryption and we don't share any of your personal information with anyone - order with confidence!

ORDER PROCESSING
Orders placed online are typically processed within 48 hours. Please note, however, that our warehouse is closed on weekends, thus orders placed on Friday will likely not be processed until the following Monday.

Please also note that we cannot guarentee delivery dates. Although we do our best to label out-of-stock items and provide estimated ship dates promptly, the realities of international shipping sometimes result in unexpected delays in our warehouse receiving items from Korea and Japan.

SHIPPING CHARGES (Domestic)
We charge just our actual shipping cost. Costs are based on your Zip Code, the size and weight of your order, and method of delivery. After making your selections, proceed to checkout. After filling in the order form, you'll given various shipping options and their associated costs to choose from.

Ground shipping and express shipping (2-day or overnight) will be sent via UPS.

Shipping charges include insurance.

Please note that UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

UPS will send tracking information directly to the email address entered on the order form. The UPS tracking systems occasionally takes a day or two to update and many UPS emails are lost or blocked because they have many of the characteristics of spam email; your order is mostly likely on its way even if you do not receive a tracking email or shipping confirmation.

If would like some of the items in your order shipped to a different address as, for example, a gift, simply note the request and additional address in the Special Shipping Request box located at the bottom of the check-out form.

RETURNS POLICY
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. You can return, in its original condition, any item purchased from us for a refund or exchange for 90 days after the date of purchase. Please email us at sales@samarkand.net for a Return Number.

PAYMENT VIA MAIL
After filling in the order form and selecting the payment by mail option, just hit Submit Order. You'll receive an email order confirmation with the total. You can remit via check or money order (please do not send cash!) along with a printout of the order confirmation to our mailing address:

Please note that orders are not shipped until checks clear.

If you prefer, you can fax us at 866-242-9560. Please include the name you entered in the billing address and your credit card number and expiration date for us to process and ship your order ASAP.

We can also accept payment via Paypal. Our email address for Paypal payment is sales@samarkand.net. When submitting your Paypal payment, please enter the order number that is assigned to you at the end of the check-out process. Your order number will also appear on your confirmation email.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Samarkand normally ships international orders via the U.S Postal Service. We insure international packages, but the US Postal Service does not offer in-transit tracking so we are unable to guarantee a delivery time window.

Please note that the USPS requires at least 60 days from the date of shipment before we can begin tracking procedures or reship lost orders.

Please note: we can no longer ship via UPS or FedEx to Canada due to the high number of refused deliveries due to commercial carrier customs brokerage fees. Items returned due to non-payment of customs or taxes will be refunded less the shipping costs.

Customs
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office or post office for further information.
